Cops hunt chain snatcher

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a strong-arm robbery that occurred on May 29th. At around 1:50 p.m. on the D Line at the East Kingsbridge Subway Station, the suspect approached the 17-year-old woman, and ripped two necklaces from around her neck. The suspect then fled on foot. The chain snatcher is described as a black male who is 5 foot 4. Anyone with information is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at (800) 577-TIPS.
