Pfizer (NYSE: PFE), Sprint (NYSE: S) and (NASDAQ: SIRI) Have something in common

New York - Shares of these three unrelated companies were the top volume movers on Friday. Pfizer the global pharmaceutical giant, nearly doubled its usual volume of 42 million as traders have been active ahead of their quarterly report, which is set to be released on November 2nd. Shares of Sprint Nextel rose 2%, while AT&T and Verizon fell, as traders bid the company higher ahead of their October 27th quarterly announcement. Sirius Satellite radio which is frequently a top volume mover due to its low share price had 54 million shares sold. However, this is only roughly equivalent to $54 million. The company is set to release its earnings on November 4th.

28 Shows Until Stern No More (NASDAQ: SIRI)

NEW YORK- Sirius Satellite radio has still not determined the future of Howard Stern. Stern the self proclaimed "king of all media" is in the final months of a contract that will expire on December 31, 2010.

Shareholders and stakeholders are interested in the future of the Stern radio show due to the influence he has had on its growth as a business. Some argue that due to Stern's $100 million a year production budget that the company will benefit from his retirment. Investors have noted the relatively strong results of the company has seen of late as it has reported three profitable quarters in a row after being mired in years of losses. The company has lost over $10 billion in its history.

As Sirius finally begins to turn its gears after years of losses, the question is will Sterns departure be the stick that breaks the camels back?

Is He Siriusly Leaving? (NASDAQ: SIRI)

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP- While Sirius has been busy little bees in negotiating contracts with TV Stars: Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart, the company has still not determined the future of Howard Stern. The question is will he be back. Siriusly?

Stern the self proclaimed king of all media is in the final months of a contract that will expire on December 31, 2010. Stern has continued to hint at leaving Sirius when his contract expires. When asked about what he would do with the extra time; Stern replied "I would be happy, I am sure I would find things to do." He also added he would probably play chess for a few hours followed by more relaxation.

Shareholders and stakeholders are interested in the future of the Stern radio show. Some argue that due to Stern's $100 million a year production budget that it will be of benefit to Sirius if he retires. Art Linklighter a shareholder of Sirius disagrees "this is non sense, Stern brings in a large diverse audience and he is vital to the success of Sirius."

The question is will Stern be back and is this a material for Sirius stock.
