Baseball: PFalls Lascomb and BR's Johnston, Vlasic Named AA All-State

(June 18, 2010) - Potomac Falls High School first baseman Michael Lascomb and Broad Run DH Ryan Johnston picked up 2010 AA baseball All-State honors from the Virginia High School Coaches Association while Spartan Shane Vlasic was named honorable mention at pitcher.

Boys Basketball: PF's Mihailovich Named to AP's AA All-State 1st Team, BR's McGaughey 2nd Team; PF's Hawes is Coach of the Year

(June 2, 2010) - The Associated Press has released its 2009-10 AA All-State selections and Potomac Falls High School junior Lukas Mihailovich was named to the first team and Broad Run senior Kevin McGaughey picked up second team honors.

Potomac Falls coach Jeff Hawes, leading his Panthers to Loudoun's first ever state title in boys basketball, was named the Coach of the Year.

Girls Basketball: Freedom's Buchanan AP All-State 1st Team, LC's Batts and Holmes 2nd Team

(June 2, 2010) - The Associated Press has released its AA girls basketball All-State selections and three Loudoun girls were honored including Freedom's Kelsey Buchanan on the first team and Loudoun County's Brittany Batts and Kendra Holmes on the second team.
