Castrol powers the OSS in 2007!

The Ontario Sportsman Series is pleased to announce Castrol Canada and Wakefield Canada as a major partner in 2007.

“We’ve been in discussions with Anthony Stadelman and Bob MacDonald since the OSS was formed and they stepped up right away expressing their interest in being involved with the series, Castrol has a long term goal with the series and we sat down numerous times to outline what the vision of the series will be over the next few years” says Dave Connelly of the OSS. “The great news is that they are committed to the series on a long-term basis and we are all on the same page on how to grow the series.”

"Castrol has a long history of supporting motorsports around the globe, and specifically here in Canada, so the relationship is a natural fit. Our long term support of the CASCAR series is testament to that, and its dissolution has left a hole, both in our portfolio and the marketplace, for grassroots stock car racing. We’re very excited to be involved with the Ontario Sportsman Series, we think our program is a fitting way to give back to the sport and its participants. Gentlemen start your engines!” states Anthony Stadelman - Director of Marketing for Wakefield Canada.

Castrol has a history of over 100 years of developing and marketing the highest quality premium products for use in virtually every type of engine you can imagine. Our tradition of developing superior technology and fine tuning it through testing, both in the laboratory and on the race track, has led to the finest quality of lubricants available for literally millions of vehicles around the world.

The OSS kicks off its inaugural season on Saturday night (June 16) at Mosport Speedway.
