I ran into Pete Shepherd's mom (Sharon) at the Mosport NCATS race yesterday. It sounds like Pete is ready to get back behind the wheel of the #50 RoushFenway NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series truck sooner than planned.
When it was first announced that T.J. Bell would be driving the #50, it was supposed to be for 15 events, running through until September 22 at Las Vegas.
According to Sharon Shepherd, Bell will be taking a three-race hiatus and 'Petey' will drive the truck in the next three events, starting June 22 at the Milwaukee Mile. After that, the young Canadian will race on June 30 at Memphis and on July 14 at Kentucky.
