Volleyball: Ideal Senior Night for Pride as Heritage Sweeps Battlefield

Leesburg (Oct. 29, 2010) - Early this week the varsity volleyball team at Heritage High School clinched the Cedar Run District regular season title. Thursday night the Pride ended their regular season district play with an undefeated record (8-0 in district, 18-2 overall), defeating the Battlefield Bobcats in three games.

Volleyball: Sister Act! Dominion Has Three Sets of Sisters on Floor Tonight

Volleyball: Woodgrove Dig Pink Event Scores Big for Fight Against Breast Cancer

(Oct. 28, 2010) - The first inaugural Dig Pink event for Woodgrove High School was held last Thursday as the Wolverines hosted fellow first-year school Tuscarora. Although the Dulles District match went to Tuscarora, the big winners were the Side-Out Foundation and the fight against breast cancer as Woodgrove is estimating that it will double its $1,500 fundraising goal.

Volleyball: Broad Run Clinches Second Seed in Dulles with 5-Game Thriller Against Freedom

(Oct. 27, 2010) - Broad Run High School clinched the second seed for next week's Dulles District tournament with a hard-fought win over Freedom Tuesday night in five games, 21-25, 25-21, 25-23, 13-25, 15-13.

Volleyball: Drive for Five - Raiders Clinch 5th Straight Dulles District Regular-Season Title

Ashburn (Oct. 22, 2010) - The Loudoun County High School volleyball team swept second-place Broad Run Thursday night to wrap up the Raiders fifth consecutive Dulles District regular-season title.

The three-time defending AA state champions are now 17-1 on the season and a perfect 14-0 in district after the 25-23, 25-21, 25-19 victory.

Volleyball: Heritage Sweeps Valley on Dig Pink Night, Secures Cedar Run Regular-Season District Title

Leesburg (Oct. 20, 2010) - For the second straight Dig Pink volleyball fundraiser this season it was Heritage High School sweeping past AAA Cedar Run District rival Loudoun Valley. Tuesday's 25-15, 25-23, 25-15 win for the Pride secured a least a tie for the district regular-season title.

Ashburn (Oct. 19, 2010) - The Broad Run High School volleyball team is hosting three-time AA state champion Loudoun County on Thursday in a key AA Dulles District match that will also serve as a fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors Project.
