Competitive Cheer: Battlefield Wins Cedar Run Meet with Heritage Runner-up

(Oct. 28, 2010) - Battlefield High School captured the AAA Cedar Run District cheer meet Wednesday night with host Heritage finishing runner-up.

The Bobcats scored 239 points to out-distance the Pride at 214.5. Stonewall Jackson was third at 211 followed by Osbourn (208.5) and Loudoun Valley (203).

Volleyball: Cedar Run Playoff Picture - Heritage Claims Regular-Season Title

(Oct. 27, 2010) - A healthy Battlefield High School volleyball team notched their first AAA Cedar Run District win of the season and that has given the Bobcats life for the next week's postseason tournament. Heritage has already clinched the regular-season title with Tuesday's sweep over Stonewall Jackson.

Cross Country: Battlefield Sweeps Cedar Run Meet




(Oct. 21, 2010) - Battlefield High School swept the boys and girls Cedar Run District cross country meets at Oatlands on Wednesday. Loudoun Valley and Heritage finished 2-3 in both the boys and girls and will advance to the Northwest Region meet. The Vikings boys were second with the Pride third and the Pride girls were second with the Vikings third.

Competitive Cheer: Stone Bridge Wins Third Annual Cheers Sports Spirit Bowl

(Oct. 14, 2010) - The Stone Bridge High School competitive cheer team made it two straight meet victories as the host Bulldogs won the Third Annual Cheers Sports Spirit Bowl on Saturday.

Breaking News: VHSL Changes AAA Soccer Schedule for Friday

(June 9, 2010) - The VHSL has changed the AAA state semifinal soccer schedule for Friday at Westfield High School due to graduations.

Basketball: Cedar Run Out of Luck for Area AAA Teams

Basketball: Valley Gets Back to Cedar Run Action with Key Boys, Girls Wins

Basketball: Monday Cedar Run District Games Monday Postponed

(Feb. 12, 201) - Prince William schools are not allowed to play on Monday so that proposed Cedar Run District boys and girls basketball slated for President's Day have been postponed (again!).

Gymnastics: Battlefield Takes 5-Team Season Opener at Loudoun Valley; Host Vikes and Broad Run Strong 2-3

Purcellville (Dec. 9, 2009) - Battlefield High School, which finished fourth last season in the VHSL state open championship, was in mid-season form in a five-team gymnastics season opener at Loudoun Valley on Monday as the Bobcats scored 141.75 to win the meet.

The host Vikes were runner-up at 135.30 with Broad Run not far behind at 130.15.
