Boys Soccer: Heritage's Eric Dentler Named First Team All-Region

Soccer: Super Six! Half Dozen Loudoun Soccer Teams Advance to State Semifinals

(June 9, 2010) - Loudoun County is home to more youth soccer players than almost any area in the nation and the wealth of talent is showing on the high school level where Tuesday night an amazing six area high school teams advanced to the state semifinals.

Breaking News: VHSL Changes AAA Soccer Schedule for Friday

(June 9, 2010) - The VHSL has changed the AAA state semifinal soccer schedule for Friday at Westfield High School due to graduations.

The Loudoun Valley High School girls, originally scheduled for the late game at 8 p.m., will now face Cosby at 11 a.m. The Deep Run vs. Battlefield boys will follow at 1 p.m. The Stone Bridge boys, slated for 2 p.m., will now start at 5 p.m. against Cox followed

Boys Soccer: Broad Run Beats PFalls in Region II Title Game on Foster's "Golden Goal"

(June 6, 2010) - The Broad Run High School and Potomac Falls boys soccer teams picked up Saturday right where they left off Friday ... battling to a scoreless standstill and it wasn't until a second overtime period that the Region II title game was decided on a controversial goal by junior defender Tom Foster.

The Skinny on Wednesday's Regional Semifinals: Loudoun Teams Go 10-for-12

(June 3, 2010) - Loudoun teams made a huge STATEment Wednesday night as they won 10 of 12 regional semifinal contests to advance to Frdiay's regional finals and qualify for next week's state tournament.

In all, seven soccer teams from Loudoun will be playing in States including Broad Run boys and girls, Stone Bridge boys and girls, Loudoun Valley and Loudoun County girls and Potomac Falls boys.
