(Oct. 28, 2010) - Battlefield High School captured the AAA Cedar Run District cheer meet Wednesday night with host Heritage finishing runner-up.
The Bobcats scored 239 points to out-distance the Pride at 214.5. Stonewall Jackson was third at 211 followed by Osbourn (208.5) and Loudoun Valley (203).

Competitive Cheer: Fairfax Wins Liberty District Meet with Stone Bridge Runner-up
(Oct. 27, 2010) - Host Fairfax High School, the reigning VHSL AAA state champion, captured the Liberty District title Tuesday night with 4-time state champion Stone Bridge runner-up. The Rebels win ended Stone Bridge's bid for a third straight title and fifth Liberty title in six years.
Both teams move onto the regional meet with the semifinals Oct. 30 and the finals on Nov. 6.

(Oct. 19, 2010) - AA state competitive cheer power Brentsville swept its own meet on Saturday with the Tigers winning both the varsity and JV divisions. Loudoun Valley took sixth in the varsity meet.

Competitive Cheer: Stone Bridge Wins Third Annual Cheers Sports Spirit Bowl
(Oct. 14, 2010) - The Stone Bridge High School competitive cheer team made it two straight meet victories as the host Bulldogs won the Third Annual Cheers Sports Spirit Bowl on Saturday.
Showing the state power's depth was the fact that Stone Bridge's JV squad finished third, ahead of seven other varsity units. Stone Bridge varsity also captured the Park View Invitational this season.

News: Woodgrove Hires Jason Lutman as Golf Coach; Tuscarora Hires Crissi Vogt as Competitive Cheer Coach
(Feb. 24, 2010) - Woodgrove High School has selected Jason Lutman to start the Wolverines new golf program.
Woodgrove will open in Purcellville this coming September.
Lutman is the son of retired Potomac Falls High School athletic director, Charlie Lutman, and comes to Woodgrove from a family with a life-long commitment to public school education.
