WEEKEND PREVIEW: Brockville Ontario Speedway

Beast of the East presents first fall classic



BROCKVILLE, ON - The leaves are changing, but that doesn't mean the action has come to an end at Brockville Ontario Speedway. The Beast of the East presents its' first ever fall Classic on Saturday, October 22nd at 3pm at the fast quarter mile clay oval.



'This is something, I have always wanted to try for our fans, ' said Promoter Paul Kirkland. 'When we put this year's schedule together, we said why not, I know Canadian race fans have been wanting a late year event on this side of the border.'



Fans will be treated to a twin bill of epic purportion with the final points race of the season for the Patriot Sprint Group with local favourites Rick and Kyle Wilson right in the thick of the fight with both still in the top 10 in the points standings. The afternoon of action also includes the second run what you brung Modified main event as Stephane LaFrance tries to back up his September win with a specially designed sail panel aboard his car. Due to popular request, the Street Stocks were added this week as a third class for this fall classic.



Brockville Ontario Speedway also welcomes aboard Inside Track Motorsport News for this special event. Canada's number one motorsports publication will be on hand offering trial subscriptions as well as some special giveaways. The rain date for the special event is Sunday, October 23rd at 3pm. The track will feature a special Halloween weekend special with an Eve of Destruction Demolition Derby on Sunday, October 30th at 3pm, an illusionist will be on hand as well to make it a Spooky afternoon of mayhem. The 2006 season kicks off with the Hangover Enduro on January 1st at 2pm. "
