GT Race Karts inks Canadian Rotax Max ace Scott Campbell for 2006!

Vancouver, BC - January 5, 2005: GT Race Karts is pleased to announce it has signed international caliber Rotax pilot Scott Campbell as an Official Factory driver & Factory test pilot for 2006. Scott will be competing on a 2006 GT Kart Marauder TaG chassis in the 2006 Canadian Rotax Max Challenge & the 2006 Canadian National Championship both in Rotax Senior and Formula Senior (ICC). He will also be driving for Factory GT Kart in ICC at select events in a yet to-be-officially announced National caliber series in North America.

Hailing from Saskatoon, SK, Canada, Campbell is a regular at the Rotax World Championships where he has earned the right to represent Canada at the International level in 2 of the last 3 years. At the 2004 World Rotax Max Challenge Championships in the Canary Islands, Campbell qualified third in RM1 amongst 68 other top drivers from all over the world and this is the highest qualifying position a Canadian driver has accomplished at a CIK sanctioned World Karting Event, ever.

Several other national caliber drivers as well as key personnel are to be named to the Official Factory GT Kart team in the coming weeks as GT Race Karts implements the next phase of its aggressive growth plan for 2006 and puts the finishing touches to their Official Factory team.
