The CENTER for Speed is pleased to announce a broad range of new and inexpensive motorsports classes which will begin racing this summer at it's facility located near Parlee Beach, in Grand Barachois.

Among the new classes are a number of stock car and non stock car racing offerings intended for all ages starting with novices from as young as age 8. The new divisions will compete on Friday nights in the warmer months and will include the "Thrasher" Class where contact is encouraged.

Other Friday Night motorsports fun comes in the form of Pocket Bike racing, a Demolition Series, "NASCAR Mini's" (a scale version of a NASCAR stock car running a 13 HP single cylinder engine), Radio Controlled Racers and a PEPSI 4 Cyl Class.

Options will exist for competitors to own their own machines or where storage, transportation, maintenance, time and capital costs might otherwise be an issue, to compete from week to week using speedway provided equipment.

A meeting is scheduled for this Saturday Night, January 14th, at the Moncton Dart Club, 28 Eaton at 7 PM to review the details for all those with interest in participating.
