Girls Lacrosse: Loudoun Valley's Harkey's Sweep Regional Awards -- Shannon is Player of the Year and Dad Jay is Coach of the Year
(June 17, 2010) - It was a big day for the Harkey's when the Northwest Region girls lacrosse coaches got together and voted on their 2010 selections as Loudoun Valley High School senior Shannon Harkey was named the Player of the Year and dad, Jay Harkey, was named the Coach of the Year.
The Vikings advanced to the VHSL semifinals for the third straight year.

(June 9, 2010) - It was an all too familiar ending for yet another brilliant girls lacrosse season at Loudoun Valley High School as the Vikings fell in the VHSL state semifinals for the third consecutive year.

(June 6, 2010) - Loudoun Valley High School boys lacrosse coach Jeff Lewandowski summed up his team's VHSL state quarterfinal trip to Western Albemarle Saturday evening: "Great game, bad weather!".

One Win from States: A Dozen Loudoun Teams Play in Regional Semifinals on Wednesday

Lacrosse: Loudoun Valley Girls Capture Third Straight Regional Title, Valley Boys Stung by Yellowjackets
Purcellville (May 29, 2010) - The Loudoun Valley High School girls lacrosse team claimed its third consecutive AAA Northwest Region title on Friday with a 16-12 victory over Cedar Run District rival Battlefield.
