Boys Lacrosse: "Great Game, Bad Weather" as Loudoun Valley Advances to State Semifinals with Win at Western Albemarle

(June 6, 2010) - Loudoun Valley High School boys lacrosse coach Jeff Lewandowski summed up his team's VHSL state quarterfinal trip to Western Albemarle Saturday evening: "Great game, bad weather!".

The Vikes weathered the storm, literally, with Frostburg-bound Alex Sharrer making eight saves and Syracuse-bound Chris Daddio a perfect 14-of-14 on faceoffs as the Vikes defeated the Warriors, 7-5,
