Track and Field: Stone Bridge Junior Haley Springman Captures AAA State Discus Title; Heritage's Josh Toney Medals in Discus, Shot

(June 6, 2010) - Stone Bridge High School junior Haley Springman won the AAA state track and field discus competition Saturday at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond with a toss of 125-07.

The top local boys finisher was Heritage senior Josh Toney, who took fourth in the discus (160-09) and sixth in the shot put (53-11.25). Loudoun Valley senior Brett Blakeney was also eighth in the discus at 145
