Ohsweken Speedway kicks off its second evening of racing action for 2007 this Friday night, May 25th. The racing card will feature a regular program including the DIRT Sportsman, Thunder Stocks and Mini Stocks.
Last Friday night #P38 Rob Pratt picked up where he left off last season in the DIRT Sportsman division. Pratt handled the field on his way to victory lane and now holds a slim 4 point lead over #22x Travis Braun in his attempt to repeat as champion.
In the Thunder Stocks #9 Glen Leinen has proven that the jump up from the Mini Stock division was not a difficult transition. Glen captured the checkers in the week one feature and holds a 4 point lead over #3 Brad Bacher.
Once again the very competitive Mini Stock class will be a tough feature win every week. Last week #28 Abel Castelein took the win over #05 Rick Robinson and #86 Rick Emberson. Castelein leads the point standings after one event.
Admission prices have been rolled back at the Ohsweken Speedway in 2007. Adult admission for a regular show is now just $10 while Students (13-17) and Seniors (65+) admission is only $8. Race time at the Big 'O' is 7:45PM SHARP!
