By Bill Janitz, Director of Public Relations, Michigan International Speedway

BROOKLYN, Mich. – Michigan International Speedway President Brett Shelton announced today that all reserved seats for the GFS Marketplace 400 on Sunday, August 21, have been sold. With the sellout, MIS has extended its remarkable streak of sold out NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series races to 30 consecutive events dating back to June 1991.

“We owe it to our fans and thank them for making our 30th straight NASCAR NEXTEL Cup sellout possible,” said Shelton. “We are blessed to have the support of so many great fans here at MIS. We will continue to work hard and give our fans the greatest NASCAR racing experience for many years to come.”
