BIGGEST WEEKEND IN CANADIAN SPRINT CAR HISTORY SET TO TAKE PLACE

The most anticipated weekend in Ohsweken Speedway history is about to become reality. With two nights of sprint car racing on tap and nearly 70 cars pre-registered the additional seating being brought into the speedway will be jam packed.

On Friday night the Southern Ontario Sprints head to the track to settle their 2005 season. Adam West and Glenn Styres will do battle for the season championship. That will be followed by the 'Ohsweken Shootout', a clash of the best of all four local 360 sprint touring series. The top three finishers of earlier SOD, PSG, ESS and SOS races at the 'Big O' will compete in this preview event.

The build up is for Saturday night when the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals will tear up the Ohsweken clay. The best sprint car teams in the northeast are already pre-registered for this big event. Over 70 cars are expected to be on hand to compete for the richest sprint car race in Canadian history. The winner will take home $5000 USD while anyone starting the A-main will pocket $500 USD.
