September 19, 2005, Peterborough, ON – PowerWater driver Kerry Micks placed a disappointing 27th position in Sunday’s CASCAR Super Series final event of the season at Kawartha Speedway with mechanical problems.

“I’m really happy with our season, there’s not too many drivers that can say they had three wins like we did in the PowerWater Ford,” explained Kerry Micks. “It was one of those years with highs and lows. It’s like we did really great or really bad, there seemed to be no in between.”

D.J. Kennington won the Dodge Ram Tough 250 presented by the Dodge Dealers of Ontario followed by Dave Whitlock and Peter Gibbons. Don Thomson Jr. of Hamilton, Ontario driving the Home Hardware Chevy clinched his fifth consecutive CASCAR Super Series National point championship.

“We had a great team this year and everyone worked really hard,” added Micks. “The PowerWater Micks Motorsports Team’s goal is to win races and contend for the CASCAR championship and we’ll be back next year you can count on that.”

Micks, with three wins this season in the PowerWater Micks Motorsports Ford, finished in seventh position in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.
