Tara MacLeod and Central Merchant Services Team finish 13th at Kawartha Speedway

September 20, 2005, Peterborough, ON – MacLeod Racing team driver Tara MacLeod, in the Central Merchant Services entry, placed 13th at the season ending Dodge Ram Tough 250 presented by the Dodge Dealers of Ontario Sunday at Kawartha Speedway in the CASCAR Super Series.

“The Central Merchant Services Team set two goals at the start of the season,” said Tara MacLeod. “We were fortunate and accomplished both, winning the PowerWater CASCAR Super Series Rookie of the year championship and finishing in the top 15 in the points. Everyone worked really hard and I’m very proud of our accomplishments for our sponsor Central Merchant Services and the team.”

D.J. Kennington won the Dodge Ram Tough 250 presented by the Dodge Dealers of Ontario followed by Dave Whitlock and Peter Gibbons. Don Thomson Jr. of Hamilton, Ontario driving the Home Hardware Chevy clinched his fifth consecutive CASCAR Super Series National point championship.

MacLeod won the PowerWater CASCAR Super Series Rookie of the year championship, and finished 14th in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Point Championship.
